On September 19th, 2018, the office and yard of Atemix was full of people. The first ATW or Atemix Tööstusautomaatika Workshop titled “Industrial Safety” took place.
The meeting of industrial field leaders and specialists planned in detail and carefully prepared was arranged to acknowledge the bottlenecks of IT safety in the industrial setting.
The headliner of ATW was Peeter Marvet who calls himself a technocrat and a good hacker, and who has increasing the awareness and level of IT safety in Estonia at his heart
Interest in the workshop was vast, and the office of Atemix was full of audience with great technical competence. Peeter Marvet or Pets gave an overview of possible security holes in the industry and computer networks in general, gave directions and pointed to the bottlenecks. The topic was interesting and there were more than enough questions, so that even after the presentation, the lively discussion did not want to end. We hit the nail on the head with this topic. The main goal of the workshop of providing thoughts and acknowledging problems regarding industrial safety was accomplished. Also, we obtained a lot of meaningful and positive feedback about the event and some suggestions for future events; we thank everyone who found time to give us feedback.
We thank everyone who contributed to organising the workshop, and, of course, we are particularly grateful to all participants!
The next informative meeting can be expected in the first half of 2019
